ANIME NITE ORLANDO: Ghost in the Shell 20th Anniversary! (11/19)

On Thursday, November 19th, Propeller Anime is excited to host a very special Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge, for it will be the 20th anniversary of the theatrical release of the essential anime classic, Ghost in the Shell!

To celebrate that and the upcoming release of the new GitS animated movie, we will be showing the original film in high definition glory!

Ghost in the Shell follows the hunt of the public security agency Section 9 for a mysterious hacker known as the Puppet Master. With the assistance of her team, Motoko Kusanagi tracks and finds their suspect, only to be drawn into a complex sequence of political intrigue and a cover-up as to the identity and goals of the Puppet Master. But that's not all! We will also show another movie from Production I.G and director Mamoru Oshii, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, also in beautiful bluray!

After witnessing the suicide bombing of a terrorist girl, Constable Kazuki Fuse becomes haunted by her image, and is forced to undergo retraining for his position in the Capital Police's Special Unit. 

However, unknown to him, he becomes a key player in a dispute between Capital and Local Police forces, as he finds himself increasingly involved with the sister of the very girl he saw die. (Description courtesy ANN Encyclopedia.)

Every third Thursday of the month, we host Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL! This event is free and doors open at 8:00pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter.

Bikkuri Lounge is an anime fan's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2-for-1 beers and $4.00 wells until midnight!
