ANIME NITE ORLANDO feat REDLINE and more from Takeshi Koike! (1/15)

Happy New Year, Propellerheads! We hope you have had a fun holiday! Now it's 2015 which means more exciting anime from us to you! Every third Thursday of the month, we'll be holding Anime Nite Orlando at Bikkuri Lounge, located at 1919 E, Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL!

January 15th is all about one of anime's hottest directors today, Takeshi Koike! Never heard of him? We're going to fix that with a whole night of his directed works, headlined by REDLINE!!!1!

REDLINE is the most insane anime film to come out in the last decade. It's the super-crazy, over-the-top kind of anime we love and the kind of movie that makes anime so freaking cool. If you have not seen it, you are in for a treat! 

Plus... we have more Takeshi Koike anime to show, including the latest Lupin the 3rd film, Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone. It's a continuation of the Lupin television series A Woman Called Fujiko, which Koike worked on as an animation director. How awesome is that?

Plus, we'll try to fit in as many shorts of Koike's as time allows, including his contribution to The Animatrix, World Record! Seriously, this night is going to kick ass. If you aren't there, turn in your otaku card. Otherwise, we can wait to see you!

This event is free and doors open at 8:00pm! You must be over 18 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter. Special thanks to Benjamin Briggs for helping us with the poster!

Bikkuri Lounge is an anime fan's paradise with the best in Japanese cuisine including sushi and sake, and a full bar with drink specials such as 2-for-1 beers and $4.00 wells until midnight!
