It's lucky number thirteen as far as episodes of Propeller Anime Radio go! We sure hope nothing bad happens on this podcast!
We talk a little about O.G. Full Metal Alchemist vs Brotherhood. Then we get into the upcoming MegaCon and its anime track(that we will not be a part of), including some of the after-parties going on.
Afterward, we get into the live-action Akira and how Frenchie LeDouche's disrespect of the source material could adversely affect the films he was to direct. Plus, Miyazaki rants about the otaku-filled anime industry and our take on it.
Last but not least, we cover Space Dandy, the hot, new anime from Shinichiro Watanabe! (Cowboy Bebop, Kids on the Slope) It currently airs every Saturday night at 11:30pm on Cartoon Network's Toonami block. It's getting a polarizing reaction but what do WE think of it?
