RE: It's MANIME! Nite!

Thank you all for coming out! Last night was deliciously awesome! Not just because we had beer, beef jerky, and also 4 pounds of candied bacon made by our friend Alison, but specifically for one of the hottest times that we have anywhere!

It's MANIME! Nite!

We watched about 3 hours of action-packed, testosterone-filled goodness that would put hair on any man's chest. That would be Riding Bean, Sakigaki!! Otokojuku, and of course our main feature, Berserk Golden Age Arc I: The Egg of the Supreme King!

We love Sakigaki!! Otokojuku and would like to get more people into it so that they may refine their manhood. It may never be licensed, but it has been fansubbed by Hokuto no Gun.

I don't think we've ever linked to a fansub group but they are great and all the manga and anime they distribute is unlicensed and most of it falls in line with the MANIME theme.

As for Berserk, oh man! You guys were a hot crowd! That was a pretty fun movie and we're glad a whole few tons of you came out to see it!

The next part, known as Berserk Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey comes in Japan theaters on June 23. It's highly likely that we will show this near the year's end. We're hyped!

Now we had tons of great treats, brews, and MANIME, but that's not all the fun we had! I presented two segments from the most electrifying panel to ever hit the anime convention circuit, It's MANIME! The Manly Anime Panel!

Those segments were the "Twelve Laws of True Man" and the "Guide on how to date REAL MEN." Here is a link to the former but perhaps the latter should be an actual video?

Regardless, we love enriching your lives with good stuff every second Friday night of the month at A Comic Shop and we'll be at Anime Festival Orlando in August doing their best events. We hope to see you all again soon!
